Urwerk at Only Watch 2015

On 7th of November will be held for the sixth time, and for the first time in Geneva, the great biennial festival of watchmaking – ONLY WATCH 2015. As a tribute to finesse, beauty and precision, forty four of the largest worldwide manufacturers of watches have prepared unique pieces, so specially created for the event this year.
This exhibition with auction, organized by the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy (AMM), the Monaco Yacht Show and the Phillips auction house in combination with trays & Russo, is a charity event because all funds raised will be donated to the research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Each participating watchmakers have agreed to offer a special showing for this special sale.
Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei, the founders of Urwerk company participate at Only Watch 2015 with an exceptional piece: Urwerk UR-106 “Only Watch” – unique piece made for the occasion, a watch with a Science fiction appearance. UR-106 Only Watch has three arms, each of them carrying four hours pass successively over the minute scale. Thus, hours are displayed with rotating parts and the minutes are on an arcuate track. The case of the watch is made of titanium and steel annually, black PVD coated. The case and the strap (made from aligator leather) are black, but the numbers and the indices and the strap seams are yellow – the characteristics for UR watches.
The caliber of this watch is self-winding 6.01.
